Imran khan new initiative for Housing and Allocation of the lower middle class is setting new standards for the masses. In this era of inflation post-covid-19, Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is like a breath of fresh air in Pakistan’s high rated real estate market. This Grand Project houses almost 40 million families targetting mainly lower middle-class ones.
The project is also named “Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar”, and various banks lead the financial scheme with specific terms and conditions. In addition, we have tried to jot down acquiring property through the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, making it easier for everyone to understand and apply.
Area and Location:
The project has started in all central provinces, but rapid development has started in Lahore and Islamabad. The prime minister will inaugurate approx 25,000 built houses in Islamabad and, consequently, in Balochistan.
Currently, LDA City and Kingdom Valley are officially approved private housing societies for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme apartments.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Lahore:
A vast area of 800 Kanal is allocated for the housing scheme in Lahore alone. There will be 4000 apartments constructed on a 695 Sq—Ft area. While an apartment of these specifications is efficiently priced at about 50 Lacs in Lahore, NPHS will price the same through this budget-friendly housing scheme at only about 27 lac.
Payment:
The payment process is also well planned for the commoner. Initially, a downpayment of only 10 % of the total amount is required to book an apartment. A recent ruling said you have to submit at least 20% of the amount, which is 5 lac 40 thousand rupees. The instalment per month gets down to 16 thousand PKR. In addition, however, if someone takes on possession during this tenure, they can even pay an instalment after shifting to their new home. The repayment timeline has been extended to 20 years of the term. Bank of Punjab handles loan and payment processes.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Islamabad:
Kingdom Valley is the first NOC Approved private housing Society for the NPHS. 20 to 30% of the land from this society has been allocated for the governmental scheme. A 3.5 Marla Plot is available for a mere 7 to 7.5 Lac on a 5-year easy instalment plan, which is very reasonable compared to the rising real estate market. Five marla starts from 9 to 9.5 lac and so and so forth.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is limited to Punjab, but all provinces and especially in Balochistan; NPHS initiative, is catered explicitly to the significantly lower-middle-class community. This scheme has also been started in Punjab in Faisalabad, Gujranwala and shiekhupura city.
